The NEW Sebra Baby & Junior bed - birchbark rose

Sebra have the design rights to the original Juno bed, and in 2016 we relaunched the classic, timeless and beautiful bed under the name The Sebra Bed. A high level of craftsmanship has gone into making this bed, which has the design's familiar and distinctive rounded corners and cot sides and gables with round poles. 

The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. can be used from infancy and will follow the child as he or she develops and grows. The bed is equipped with an adjustable base that makes it possible to raise the bottom, so that mum or dad can easily reach their newborn. When the child starts to pull itself up, lower the bottom to ensure that they don't crawl out over the edge of the bed. When the child is able to climb out of bed, one or both of the cot sides can be removed. When the child grows and can no longer fit in the baby bed, simply pull the bed out into a junior bed. The many different combinations allow you to constantly find new ways to use the bed, which was one of Viggo Einfeldt's original ideas behind the Juno bed. Many people also use the bed as a sofa when a cot or junior bed is no longer needed.

The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. is treated with an antibacterial, environmentally friendly and non-toxic wood paint, ensuring a cleaner indoor environment and protection of your child's health. The wood paint is independently tested in accordance with the restrictive JIS Z 2801 standards, including for E. coli bacteria.

The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. meets the European safety standard DS / EN 716 for cots.

Different two-part, quality mattresses can be purchased with The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. – a standard piece and a second piece for when the bed needs to be converted to a junior bed. The mattresses have rounded corners.
